Human Resources Manager
Position Summary
Miasa Automotive LLC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, human resources, and compliance functions. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with experience in accounting, payroll, human resources, and office administration within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain the general ledger and all related financial records.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial close activities, including journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process customer invoicing and vendor payments.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
- Maintain accounting systems and financial databases.
- Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate property tax filings and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Payroll & Benefits
- Process company payroll accurately and on time.
- Remit payroll taxes and employee benefit payments.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit programs.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Human Resources
- Lead recruiting efforts to attract qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain hiring and selection processes.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee training.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and workplace safety initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain company records and documentation.
- Monitor billing and service processes supporting company operations.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency.
- Support management with special projects and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, human resources, or a similar management role.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and employment law.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
- Experience coordinating audits.
- Knowledge of payroll tax reporting and employee benefits administration.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
