Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

Miasa Automotive LLC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, human resources, and compliance functions. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with experience in accounting, payroll, human resources, and office administration within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain the general ledger and all related financial records.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial close activities, including journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Process customer invoicing and vendor payments.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
  • Maintain accounting systems and financial databases.
  • Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate property tax filings and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Payroll & Benefits

  • Process company payroll accurately and on time.
  • Remit payroll taxes and employee benefit payments.
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit programs.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Human Resources

  • Lead recruiting efforts to attract qualified candidates.
  • Develop and maintain hiring and selection processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee training.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Maintain employee personnel records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate workers' compensation claims and workplace safety initiatives.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain company records and documentation.
  • Monitor billing and service processes supporting company operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support management with special projects and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, human resources, or a similar management role.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and employment law.
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating audits.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax reporting and employee benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
